Cost
We've always believed that the music industry is full of misconceptions. A lot of artists feel that if they don't spend upwards of ten thousand dollars in an enormous studio, they won't get a great sounding album. Thanks to advances in technology, this is quickly becoming a false statement.
Recording gear and applications are getting more affordable by the day it seems, and it won't be long before more artists realize the potential in smaller studios. If we can capture 95% of the quality of the big guys, for 5% of their cost, everyone on our end wins.
Of course, with the big studios and their expensive equipment, less work has to go into making the recordings sound the way they do. But with a well rounded understanding of music; being musicians ourselves, a lot of tender love and care goes into the recordings making them what they are. And that's where the understanding comes in...
