When it comes to recording music, it is a lot easier for musicians to explain their ideas if the producer is a musician himself. This is an important difference with Michaud Studios. We're not just a bunch of gear-happy engineers who know how to press record and ride the gain. Instead we are fellow musicians, with a wide appreciation for genres. This helps maintain a creative atmosphere and doesn't pigeonhole the process to one type of music or the other.
We also understand that every artist that wants to record normally has a budget. Often times artists like to release an EP, or Demo, before moving head on into a full Album release. Usualy, the demo has less production and polish than the full album. This can be a great way to showcase the evolution or maturing of a band. The varying levels of quality can be heard in our portfolio.
